On my BDay 9/24/2008 a Wednesday Nite, My husband took me out to the Fridley Crab House. I got to tell you I had read several reviews that weren't very favorable on this place, but because I had a craving for Crab, and, this place was fairly close I thought what the heck I'll give ita shot. Am I glad we did!!! We sat at the Bar and have a cocktail, Steve the Bartender's service & cocktails were Great! Janell one of the wait servers was seated nearby at he time I thought she was a customer and inquired about the crab legs. Janell assured me they were great and in fact she had ordered some for herself and she would let me try some (What a Sweetie!). While enjoying our Great Service, Cocktails, We were enterained by a Fab Band "Tim O'Brian Band", (Great Jazz & Blues) not alone Great Personalities! (They even let well known Jazz /Blues Players set in and do sets with them from time to time!) ....By the Way, The All You Can Eat Wednesday Nite Crab Legs..that Janell let us try, We later ordered & ate to our hearts content all nite!!! Mmmmmm Mmmmmmm Good! We will be telling all our friends about this great place!!!

Pros: Everything Supurb! Bartender, Wait Staff, Crab Legs, Portions, & Ah Yes the Tim O'brian Band!!

Cons: If you crabby and cranky for just about any reason don't go there because you wont have any fun!

Be careful what you order!!!

I came into the Fridley Crab House for the first time this past weekend and sat at the bar and ordered a drink, when I overheard what appeared to be a couple of regulars talking to the bar tender about opening a fresh bottle of Jack Daniels, which I thought was odd, since there was a full one behind the bar. That was untill I tasted my drink! It did not taste right so I thought, I'l try the same thing. The problem was is when the bar tender went to get a new bottle, I noticed that the seal was already broken on the bottle?? Whats that all about??? I realize that happy hour only charges $2/drink but you should get what your actually buying!!! I'd rather pay $5/drink at a dirty strip joint, (although the Crab House isnt much differen than one!!), but at least you know that you get what you"re paying for!!!

Pros: Cheap drinks

Cons: Cheap drinks

Happy Hour

I would recommend it for Happy Hours great value! There's a choice of some great appetizers to go along with your drinks. It gets really busy, but is a good deal. The bathrooms need some work, though.

Pros: Inexpensive appetizers and drinks during happy hour

Cons: bathrooms
